How to Ride

Riding with BeeLine is Easy!

BeeLine is Yolobus’ new on-demand rideshare service, offering convenient and affordable trips within several zones in Yolo county. Perfect for short local trips, BeeLine uses small vehicles to get you where you need to be. With the BeeLine app, you can set your own pick-up and drop-off points, book rides, pay, and track your trip—all from your mobile device. Enjoy clean, safe, and reliable transportation with BeeLine. How to Ride BeeLine

  • Choose your pick-up and drop-off points.
  • Select when you want to ride and the number of passengers. If you have additional needs, specify them here.
  • Please be advised that all children until the age of eight, or until they reach a height of 4 feet 9 inches, must travel in a child safety seat to comply with California State Law. You must provide your own child safety seat.

Step 3: Get Ready!

  • Arrive at your pick-up point 5 minutes before your scheduled pick-up window.

Step 4: Payment

  • Pay in the app using a credit/debit card or with exact change in cash when you board.

BeeLine is currently available in Knights Landing, Winters, and Woodland. With limited service to Vacaville and Davis.

 

Estimated pick-up times will be displayed on the BeeLine app once the trip is confirmed. Riders will receive text alerts via the phone number they registered through. If rider does not have a number is on file, BeeLine Customer service can provide a pickup window update.

 

The driver will wait for up to 5 minutes. As a courtesy to your co-riders and to stay on schedule, the vehicle will depart if you do not arrive within the 5-minutes waiting period.

 

If the driver has already confirmed your ride, you will not be able to change the pickup and drop off destinations.

 

You may connect from BeeLine to local and intercity routes at no cost. To connect to and from express routes, the rider must pay the difference between the cost of their express route and the cost of a microtransit trip. For fares information, visit our fares page.

 

Yes, BeeLine is accessible for all passengers. Passengers who need the lift must specifically request a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, in the BeeLine app or when booking by phone.

Yes. BeeLine is a shared-ride service. Other customers may be picked up and dropped off while you are onboard.

 

Our microtransit vehicles can store up to 2 bikes on the bicycle rack on the front of the vehicle. YoloTD is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen bicycles.

Electric-assist bikes (aka e-bikes), cargo bikes, mopeds, electric-assist scooters, and similar devices are not allowed on microtransit vehicles.

Foldable bikes and foot scooters are allowed on board if they are small enough to be safely stored between or under seats without blocking the aisle.

 

Rides can also be booked by calling (530) 402-2891. Our customer service representatives will give you a vehicle arrival time, along with pick-up and drop-off location confirmations.

 

Service animals are allowed to board microtransit vehicles. A “service animal” is any animal specifically trained to work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Non-service animals or pets are not allowed on microtransit service.

 

Passengers will receive a full refund if they cancel their ride within two minutes of booking their trip on the app. Cancelling after two minutes, will result in a 40% fare fee with the remaining amount credited to the passengers Bee Line account.

 

Reservations can be made by the BeeLine app or by phone up to 7 days in advance. Reservations made by the app can be made in real time during hours of operations. Reservations by phone can be made 30 minutes prior to service starting and 30 minutes before service ends.

 

Individuals requesting a trip can call in to schedule a trip or book a trip using the BeeLine app. To schedule a trip through the app, you can download the app to your smartphone and register. To schedule a trip by phone, call (530) 402-2891.

 

The preferred form of payment is through the BeeLine app. Connect Card, cash, cash value tickets at $10, $20, $30 and ZipPass are eligible forms of fare media for BeeLine. The passenger must provide the cash value ticket upon boarding.

 

BeeLine picks up and delivers riders to their destination on demand. Within each zone and during the hours of operation, riders can go wherever they want. BeeLine does not run on a fixed route like regular bus services.

 

Other services also employ independent operators. With the Beeline, Our operators are trained and certified to transport our riders safely and efficiently to their destinations.

 

BeeLine vehicles are compact, fuel-efficient shuttles that can comfortable accommodate between 8-9 people.

 

Log into the BeeLine Application. Click on “My Profile”.  Scroll down the “Personal information” page and click on language. Then toggle language from English to Spanish.

 

Youth riders 12 and under are required to book a trip with a guardian to use BeeLine. A guardian is defined as any persons ages 13 and up.
