Reroute | Street Closures

On Monday, January 19, 2026, Yolobus Routes 42A/B, 37, 40, 41, and 240 operating in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted due an event happening at the Golden 1 Center from 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM. During the specified days and times, the following bus routes will be rerouted:

• Route 42A/B - Intercity
• Route 37 - Southport Local
• Route 40 - West Sacramento Local
• Route 240 - West Sacramento Local

The following bus stops will not be served by Routes 42A/42B:

• 5^th at L St
• L St. at 5^th
• Capitol Mall at Front St. (EB/WB)

The following bus stops will not be served by Routes 40, 41, & 240:

• Capitol Mall at 7^th

The following bus stops will serve as temporary bus stops by Routes 42A/42B:

• I St. at 8^th
• J St. at 4^th

The following bus stops will serve as temporary bus stops for Routes 40, 41, & 240:

• 5^th at N St.

On Sunday, January 18, 2026, Yolobus Routes 42A/B, 40, and 240 operating in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted due to the Kings Game at the Golden 1 Center from 4:30 PM to 9:45 PM. During the specified days and times, the following bus routes will be rerouted:

• Route 42A/B - Intercity
• Route 40 - West Sacramento Local
• Route 240 - West Sacramento Local

The following bus stops will not be served by Routes 42A/42B:

• 5^th at L St
• L St. at 5^th
• Capitol Mall at Front St. (EB/WB)

The following bus stops will not be served by Routes 40 & 240:

• Capitol Mall at 7^th

Madison County Rd. 89 Construction

Starting Monday, January 12th, 2026, through Thursday, January 28th, 2026, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Route 215 may expect delays due to pipeline construction in Madison beginning at the migrant camp and crossing County Road 89. Riders are recommended to take an earlier trip to avoid delays. Routes Impacted:

• Route 215 – EB and WB Cache Creek

Reroute | Downtown Sacramento  Farmers Markets Every Wednesday From April 30, 2025, to October 29, 2025 Starting Wednesday, April 30, 2025, until Wednesday, October 29, 2025, Capitol Mall in Downtown Sacramento will be partially closed for the weekly Farmers Market. Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes going through Capitol Mall will be rerouted every Wednesday from 08:30 AM until 02:00 PM. The following routes will be affected by the closure:

• Route 40, 41, & 240 – West Sacramento Local
• Detour Map 
  • This detour has no bus stop closures.

Starting Monday, January 27, 2025, Yolobus the Woodland Express afternoon routes 45 PM operating in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted due to ongoing construction near the State Capitol. The detour will be ongoing until construction is completed.   Impacted Routes:

• Route 45 PM – Woodland Express

The following stops will not be served by Route 43 PM and 230 PM:

• 9^th at L St.
• 10th St. at N St.

Please board at the nearest stops:

• Capitol Mall at 7^th
• P St. at 11^th
