Safety Tips During Extreme Heat:

  • Stay Informed - Sign up for text/email alerts on your ride at Yolobus.com/GetAlerts
  • Stay Hydrated - Drink plenty of water before leaving your home and bring extra water with you. Refill when possible.
  • Bring Sun Protection - Use sunscreen to protect your skin from harmful UV rays.
  • Dress appropriately - Wear a hat, sunglasses, and light-colored, loose-fitting clothing to stay cool.
  • Be mindful of your health - Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke (dizziness, nausea, headache, rapid heartbeat, confusion). If you start feeling unwell, alert the driver or a fellow passenger, and get off at the next stop to seek shade and hydration.
Stay safe!
