Reroute | Street Closures 

On Saturday, October 17th, 2026, Yolobus Route 215 and Route 212 operating on Main Street (between Cottonwood and East St.) will be rerouted from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, due to the Farm City Harvest Festival.   The following bus routes will be rerouted:
  • Route 215 EB & WB – Cache Creek
  • Route 212 - Woodland Local
  The following bus stops will not be served for route 215:
  • Main St. at 5th
  • Main at Elm
  • Main at Cleveland
  • West Main at Community
  Please board 215 buses at:
  • West Court at Cottonwood
  • Court at Cleveland
  • Court at 2nd

Reroute | Street Closures 

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, there will be detours from 5:00 AM to 11:59 PM due to the Ironman Race taking place in parts of Downtown Sacramento and West Sacramento.   During the specified days and times, the following bus routes will be rerouted:  
  • Route 40 – West Sacramento Local
  • Route 240 – West Sacramento Local
  • Route 42A – Intercity
  • Route 42B - Intercity
  The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 40 & 240:
  • Garden at W. Capitol (SB/NB)
  • Tower Bridge Gateway at Garden EB
  • Capitol Mall at Front St. (EB/WB)
  • N St. at 7th
  • 9th at L St.
  • Capitol Mall at 7th
  The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 42A & 42B:
  • Capitol Mall at Front St. (WB)
  • 5th at L St
  • 9th at K St.
  The following bus stops will serve as temporary bus stops for Routes 40, 240, & 42A/42B:
  • I St. at 8th
  • J St. at 4th
  • J St. at 6th
  • J St. at 8th

Reroute | Street Closures 

From 6:00 AM Tuesday, October 13 to 11:59 PM Saturday, October 17, multiple routes will be detoured due to closures on Capital Mall for Iron Man Triathlon preparation in addition to Golden 1 Center events.    
From October 13 at 6:00 AM to October 17 at 11:59 PM, Capitol Mall between 3rd St and 5th St will be closed for Iron Man Triathlon preparation. Refer to the following detour maps during that window EXCEPT for the times when there are Golden 1 Center event detours (listed below):

  The following bus stops will not be served by Routes 42A/42B:
  • 5th at L St
  • L St. at 5th
    The following bus stop will serve as a temporary bus stop for Route 42A/B:

Reroute | Downtown Sacramento

Beginning Wednesday, April 29, 2026, until Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Capitol Mall in Downtown Sacramento will be partially closed for the weekly Farmers Market. Due to the closure, Yolobus Routes 40, 41, and 240 going through Capitol Mall will be rerouted every Wednesday from 8:30 AM until 02:00 PM. This detour has no bus stop closures.
