On Monday September 6, YOLOBUS will operate on a SUNDAY schedule in observance of Labor Day.

Please be advised that Yolobus routes may be delayed and detoured this afternoon (8/26) in Downtown Sacramento due to a protest and rally. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Please be advised that temporary relocation of the UC Davis Memorial Union bus stop is possible due to repaving of the terminal, Aug 19-20.

Routes 42A/42B may be delayed this afternoon due to protesters blocking the intersection of L Street at 11th Street.

As part of Woodland's ADA and bus stop improvement project, the westbound bus stop on Court and Cottonwood will be temporarily relocated during reconstruction. Between Monday August 16 through Friday August 20, a temporary bus stop will be located on Court just west of Cottonwood. This bus stop is serviced by route 210.

Bus stop on WB Court at Walnut will be temporarily closed Monday Aug 9 through Friday Aug 13 due to construction and bus stop improvements. Riders can use the bus stop on Court at Cleveland as an alternative.

Route 340 is experiencing 30-45 minute delays due to bus issues. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Yolobus' Automated Vehicle Location is back to normal.

Due to construction, southbound Alhambra at Covell may be temporarily closed today for approximately four hours. Route 42B riders using bus stops on Alhambra are encouraged to use bus stops on Covell or Mace.

Construction on Eastbound West Capitol between Jefferson and Merkley will cause YOLOBUS detours for approximately the next two hours. Bus stops closures include West Capitol at Jefferson and at Merkley. Route 40/41/42B/240 will detour south on Jefferson, left on Tower Bridge Gateway, left on Garden, right on W Capitol to continue on route. Route 35 will detour south on Jefferson, left on Tower Bridge Gateway, left on Garden, left on W Capitol to begin/end route on westbound West Capitol at Merkley.

July 12 to July 16, Cottonwood between Cross and Southwood will be closed in both directions due to road work. Bus Stop Relocations: - Bus stops on Cottonwood at Cross will be temporarily relocated to be north of Cross. - Bus stop on northbound Cottonwood at Southwood will be relocated to be south of Southwood. Detours: - Northbound detour: right on Southwood, left on California, left on Cross, right on Cottonwood - Southbound detour: right on Cross, left on Ashley, left on Southwood, right on Cottonwood.

Routes 40 & 41 are being detoured via Kegle-Fremont-Douglas-Andrews-Reuter due to road closure on Cummins between Hardy and Reuter until 5pm on 7/7/10.

Normal Sunday service will be operated on July 4th, 2010. On Monday, July 5th, a "Non-Express" schedule will be operated - routes 35, 39, 40, 41, 42A/B, 210, 211, 212, 214, 215, 217, 220, 220C, 241, & 242 will operate (no other routes will operate).

Douglas St between Lighthouse and Cummins is expected to be temporarily closed on June 22 from 7am to 5pm due to construction (repaving). Route 41 will be detoured to continue east on Cummins and turn right on 6th to continue route. Temporarily closed bus stops will be: • Douglas at Cummins • Lighthouse at Douglas • Lighthouse at Fountain Passengers are encouraged to use bus stops on Cummins or 6th.

On Monday, July 5th, Yolobus will operate on a "Non-Express Holiday" schedule. The following routes will operate on a weekday schedule: 35, 39, 40, 41, 42A/B, 210, 211, 212, 214, 215, 217, 220, 220C, 240, 241, & 242. No other routes will be in service. On Sunday, July 4th, Yolobus will operate on a regular Sunday schedule.

The relocation of the westbound W. Capitol at Jefferson bus stop will be delayed unitl Thursday, June 10th. We apologize for any inconvenience.

On Wednesday, June 9, 2010, the westbound farside bus stop on West Capitol at Jefferson (in front of Autozone) will be relocated to West Capitol at Jefferson nearside (in front of Blockbuster). This bus stop will be served by routes 40, 41, 42A, 240, & 241. This bus stop relocation is part of the Streetscape project. The City of West Sacramento will be installing a new bus shelter at this location. Upon completion of the bus shelter installation, the existing bus stop in front of Autozone will be discontinued.

Yolobus will operate on a "Sunday" schedule on Monday, May 31, in observance of Memorial Day.

It has been reported that there was an attempted abduction of an adult female who was waiting for a bus at a Yolobus bus stop in Woodland. The incident apparently happened sometime between 7:00 a.m. and 7:18 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18th, near the Yolobus bus stop on East Main Street under the Highway 113 underpass. As always, please be aware of your surroundings when waiting at a bus stop. Also, if you witnessed the incident, please contact the Woodland Police at (530) 661-7800

Road closures due to a bike event in Winters will temporary close two bus stops and a detour will be in effect for Route 220 on Saturday 5/15/10.

Road closures and detours are expected in downtown Sacramento on 5/15-5/16 and in Davis on 5/17 due to the AMGEN Tour of California. Go to our "recent news" section on yolobus.com for more information.

Routes 40, 41, 42A, 42B, & 240 provide service near Raley Field in West Sacramento. Bus stops on West Capitol at 3rd and 3rd at G are within two blocks of the Raley Field Right Field Gate. Keep in mind that on game days, there may be delays due to the increased traffic.

Minor Yolobus service changes are effective Monday, February 1, 2010.
