We are so excited to be hosting a Travel Training on September 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at the Woodland Community and Senior Center!
Travel Training are designed to help you confidently and independently ride our buses.
During our presentation, we will show you:
- An overview of Yolobus routes and where you can take the bus
- How to get around Woodland
- How to read our schedules and route maps
- Fare information and rider policies
- Best practices while riding the bus (how to board with a mobility device, how to signal you are ready to get off)
- How to apply for a Senior Reduced Fare ID (application will be provided at the event)
We will have a real Yolobus there for a demonstration ride where you will experience boarding and deboarding the bus, signaling for a stop, paying fare, and communicating with the driver and other passengers!
