Reroute | Street Closures

On Monday, February 24, 2025, Yolobus routes 37, 40, 41, 240, 42A/B operating in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted due to the Kings Games at the Golden 1 Center from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

During the specified days and times, the following bus routes will be rerouted:

• Route 37 – Southport Local
• Route 40 – West Sacramento Local
• Route 41 – West Sacramento Local
• Route 240 – West Sacramento Local
• Route 42A/B – Intercity

The following bus stops will not be served for Route 37:

• 5^th at L St
• L St. at 5^th
• 9^th at K St.
• J St. at 6^th
• J St. at 8^th

The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 40, 41, 240:

• Capitol Mall at 7^th

The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 42A/42B:

• 5^th at L St
• L St. at 5^th
• Capitol Mall at Front St. (EB/WB)

The following bus stops will serve as temporary bus stops for Routes 42A/42B:

• I St. at 8^th
• J St. at 4^th

On Friday, February 21, 2025, Yolobus routes 37, 40, 41, 240, and 42A/B operating in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted from 5:30 PM to 11:59 PM due to the Kings Game at the Golden 1 Center and preparation for the Mardi Gras Festival on Capitol Mall.

During the specified days and times, the following bus routes will be rerouted:

• Route 37 – Southport Local
• Route 40 – West Sacramento Local
• Route 41 – West Sacramento Local
• Route 240 – West Sacramento Local
• Route 42A/B – Intercity

The following bus stops will not be served for Route 37:

• 5^th at L St
• L St. at 5^th
• 9^th at K St.
• J St. at 6^th
• J St. at 8^th

The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 40, 41, 240:

• Capitol Mall at 7^th

The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 42A/42B:

• Route 42B – Intercity
• Route 40-West Sacramento Local
• Route 240- West Sacramento Local

The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 42A/42B:

• 5^th at L St
• Capitol Mall at Front St (EB/WB)

The following bus stops will not be served for Routes 40 & 240:

• N St. at 7^th
• 9^th at L St.

Affected Route: 215 EB & 215 WB Cache Creek Casino/Woodland

On Sunday, February 23, 2025, Yolobus Route 215 EB & 215 WB will be rerouted due to the Capay Valley Almond Festival. Yolobus may experience delays from 6 AM to 6 PM in Esparto and surrounding cities. There may be heavy traffic on Highway 16 through Esparto and up Capay Valley through Cache Creek Casino. Expect delays of 15-20 minutes through both Esparto and Capay.

Bus Stops Closed:

• Yolo and Grafton (NB/SB)

Temporary Bus Stops:

• Fremont and Grafton (NB/SB)

Starting Monday, January 27, 2025, Yolobus the Woodland Express afternoon routes 45 PM operating in Downtown Sacramento will be rerouted due to ongoing construction near the State Capitol. The detour will be ongoing until construction is completed.

 

Impacted Routes:

• Route 45 PM – Woodland Express

The following stops will not be served by Route 43 PM and 230 PM:

• 9^th at L St.
• 10th St. at N St.

Please board at the nearest stops:

• Capitol Mall at 7^th
• P St. at 11^th
