ZipPass Is Being Phased Out

Important Announcement for Riders

SacRT and Yolobus are phasing out the ZipPass mobile app and moving to a new app called Transit Connect. For riders who purchase SacRT Daily Passes, Semi-Monthly Passes and Monthly Passes, the last day to add fare to your SacRT ZipPass was February 1, 2026. The last day to use your existing passes is April 30, 2026. Learn more here.

At this time only SacRT passes have been removed from the ZipPass store. You can add fare to your Yolobus ZipPass until March 31, and the last day to use your existing passes is April 30, 2026. We are also transferring to Transit Connect and will share more information in the coming days.

 

Available on ZipPass:

  • Monthly Passes
  • Single Ride Tickets
  • Transfer Fares
  • Yolobus Special (Paratransit) 

Riding with ZipPass is Easy!

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Launch the ZipPass app before you board. 
  2. Select the pass you want to use from your Available Tickets by tapping on the pass and then tapping the Active button at the bottom. If you are using a pass you have already activated, go to the Active window, tap the pass you want to use, and then tap on Display. 
  3. Once activated, show the fare screen to the bus operator.
  4. The operator will ask you to tap the screen in order to board the bus.
