Sept 13th Public Hearing - YoloGo Phase 2 Service Changes 09.01.21 11:53 am

To improve Yolobus transit services and to better serve our communities, the Yolo County Transportation District (YCTD) is preparing to implement Phase 2 of the YoloGo plan. Proposed Phase 2 changes focus on West Sacramento and include:

  • Discontinue Routes 35 and 39 in Southport and replace those two services with a new Route 37 (a hybrid of the 35 and 39 routes) that operates on weekdays only
  • Make minor adjustments to local routes 40, 41 and 240, including restoring early and late trips that were temporarily discontinued due to COVID and modifying the route path in Downtown Sacramento
  • Discontinue underutilized Route 241 so that resources can be allocated to other, more heavily used routes and services (such as increasing the frequency of Route 42A/42B)

For additional details, including maps and schedules, and instructions on how to give feedback on the proposed Phase 2 West Sacramento changes, visit www.goyolobus.com/westsac

If approved by the YCTD Board at the September 13th public hearing, the YoloGo Phase 2 changes will go into effect no earlier than Sunday, October 24, 2021.

Details about all of the proposed Yolobus service changes in YoloGo, including Phases 1, 2 and 3 of the plan, are available at www.goyolobus.com.
