Projects & Planning
West Sacramento Route 35 and 39 Route Planning Project
Route 35 provides intercity public transit from Southport to the West Sacramento Transit Center throughout the day and evening hours. Route 39 provides commuter public transit from Southport to Downtown Sacramento. In late March 2016, the City of West Sacramento Public Works Department and Yolo County Transportation District Staff began a series of community meetings to discuss potential changes to Yolobus Routes 35 and 39. Meetings were held on March 28, April 4, April 18 and May 4, at the West Sacramento Community Center, West Sacramento Recreation Center and at the Southport Town Center
As a result of community input for Yolobus Routes 35 and 39, minor improvements will be made to Route 35 in July (see map below). These new changes to Route 35 and a new schedule will go into effect on Sunday, July 3, 2016. A new schedule and route map is being prepared and will be available soon.
No changes to Route 39 are scheduled in the near future. Route 39 service enhancements/potential trial services continue to be refined based upon community input. The City of West Sacramento and Yolobus will provide opportunities for community feedback in the near future. We welcome your insight and encourage you to contact Jose Perez at (530)402-2826 or email@example.com or Mike Luken at (530)402-2830 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions or feedback.

The proposed effective date for the route 220 changes would be on or after Monday, July 25, 2016.
