Caltrans’ I-80 Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan Website Goes Live Today, January 8, 2021 01.08.21 4:09 pm

The Yolo County Transportation District is working in partnership with Caltrans and other organizations to develop a Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan (CMCP) for the I-80 corridor. The I-80 CMCP covers about a 70-mile span of I-80 in Solano, Yolo and portions of Sacramento county and will include Capitol Corridor passenger rail, freight rail, the Ports of Benicia and West Sacramento, local and express bus routes as well as bike and pedestrian facilities.

The website is now live and includes a Virtual Open House from January 8, 2021 through January 15, 2020,  so you can drop in at any time. There will be a short survey which is an easy way to provide input.

Speak directly to Caltrans staff on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm and Thursday, January 15, 2021 from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm.

Why participate? The I-80 CMCP is an important planning document that will identify projects to improve travel through the I-80 corridor.

We look forward to your participation by visiting www.I80CMCP.com starting January 8, 2021!
