NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED 2020/21 BUDGET FOR THE YOLO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION DISTRICT

 

 

On Monday June 8, 2020, the Yolo County Transportation District (YCTD) Board of Directors will conduct a public hearing regarding adoption of the Proposed 2020/21 Budget for the Transportation District. This meeting is being agendized to allow Board Members, staff and the public to participate in the meeting via teleconference,

pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order N-29-20. The public hearing has been time set for 7:00 PM and will be held via WebEx. Options to join this meeting will be provided as part of the final agenda published for the June 8th meeting on the District’s website (http://yolobus.com).

The budget for YCTD includes the administration of programs, transit planning, congestion management planning and the operation and maintenance of YOLOBUS fixed route and paratransit services. Also included is the capital expenditure program for the District for the next year. The total budget for YCTD is $22,885,712 and includes $17,609,672 for operations and planning and $5,276,040 for capital projects (for 4 zero emission battery electric buses, bus component overhauls and replacements, buses, bus stop improvements, facility improvements, shop and office equipment, and computer servers. YCTD’s budget is based on funding from YOLOBUS fares, Transportation Development Act funds from the Cities of Davis, West Sacramento, Winters and Woodland and the County of Yolo, State Transit Assistance funds, Low Carbon Transit Operations Program (LCTOP), the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, and the Federal Transit Administration programs for formula and discretionary capital and operating assistance, CAREs Act funding, and other sources.
