Sacramento Regional Transit District will implement major service changes and reductions, effective June 20, 2010. 06.16.10 3:13 pm

Yolobus riders who normally transfer to or from Sacramento Regional Transit (RT) buses and light rail in downtown Sacramento may be affected by RT’s service changes, beginning June 20, 2010.

To avoid a budget shortfall for the upcoming fiscal year, RT will implement major service changes throughout RT’s system, including reductions in trips and eliminations to several routes.  Additionally, RT will no longer run most bus and light rail trips that start after 9pm, seven days a week. 

Riders who transfer between RT and Yolobus are advised to check RT’s list of service changes to ensure that the Sacramento leg of their transit trip is still possible.
